Things to know about Greece

As the world frets about what will become of Greece, let's take a look at some things you should know about Greece.

The official government of Greece is called a parliamentary republic.
The official economy of Greece is capitalist.
Even though capitalist, the private sector generates only 40% of the GDP.
That means the government produces 60% of GDP for thos arithmatically challenged.

There are 10 political parties registered in Greece:
-Anticapitalist Left Cooperation for the Overthrow
-Coalition of the Radical Left
-Communist Party of Greece
-Democratic Left
-Democratic Alliance
-Ecologist Greens
-Golden Dawn
-New Democracy
-Panhellenic Socialist Movement
-Popular Orthodox Rally

Judging by the names alone, those political parties probably are the reason why greece is broke today. As Margaret Thatcher once remarked, "The problem with socialism is you always run out of somebody else's money".
